Gay Movies with Happy Endings: Adorable Characters, Lovable Stories, and a HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Trying to locate a feel-good "gay" film for viewing is akin to engaging in a round of Russian Roulette (in essence) with your soul, and frankly, that&39;s really quite poor: There exists a contrast between a "gay drama", a deeply "important gay movie", a "gay romance", and a "gay rom-com"... and what I'm here to do is celebrate those latter two!
Every film included in this enumeration is, SPOILER ALERT (obviously), guaranteed to conclude in a cheerful way, with the two leading men existing happily-ever-after (essentially).
Romance movies are to my liking, and I'm offering no apologies here! Because on occasion it becomes necessary to know, when one chooses to view a certain movie, that the lovable couple that you are feeling giddy for will not be destroyed by some horrible death or severed permanently in isolated anguish by the moment the credits are scrolling.
However, in the realm of gay cinema, the most-mainstream movie wraps up with our main actor sniffing the jacket worn by a man who was unfortunately beaten to death with a tire-iron right beside a busy freeway; our most critically-acclaimed motion picture wraps up with our unfortunate, star-crossed lovers propelling themselves into their demises against a lethal electric fence. It goes without saying, that the "gay romance" type of picture has been completely superseded by the "Gay" category, with a capital "G": Meaning the meaningful, the artful, the insightful and even the powerful.
Screw all of that nonsense!
The point is, it&39;s wretched enough that the designation "gay" is practically the only option that is available to us in the movie category. Considering the simple reality that a film is somewhat aimed towards us, we realistically have no goddamn clue what kind of ordeal we are about to experience when we start viewing! Honestly, is some measure of granularity really too much to request within a specific genre? Surely a devastating, quite powerful, and hard-hitting gay drama for instance "Bent" should not be dwelling on the exact same shelf as my much-loved, scratched-from-overuse copy of the movie "Shelter", curse it!
Thus, everything having been expressed in that manner, I am presenting for your consideration a list of genuinely cheerful, good movies---where those guys that you cheer on actually have a happy ending.
