Da Nang/Danang

    • Marble Mountains

Situated on the city's southern periphery, en route to Hoi An, lies a remarkably commercialized cluster of stone and "gem" crafting emporiums where your chauffeur will be afforded a complimentary repose (and a thirty percent commission on all transactions) while you explore the adjacent limestone karst formations adorned with sacred shrines and prayer halls, and honeycombed with cavernous passages descending into vividly lurid folk art dioramas depicting the torments awaiting transgressors in the Asian netherworld.

This gay-favored establishment offers palatable sustenance and reasonably priced beverages. It provides a genial and pleasant environment for appreciating the riverside panorama alongside local residents. The patron base comprises approximately fifty percent LGBT individuals, with this proportion escalating after ten in the evening. A presence of lesbians is also noted.

        • Two designated areas for cruising are available. The initial one, identified by GPS coordinates 16.467449,107.584585, transforms into a cruising locale during the evening hours. These verdant spaces adjacent to the Perfume River attract some gay individuals seeking encounters. Public amenities are also present. The majority are locals, often arriving on or remaining seated on their motorbikes, maintaining discretion. The second location, with GPS coordinates 16.4725963,107.5791634, is situated at the base of the ramparts of the Imperial City, adjacent to the East Gate, during nighttime. Patrons arrive via scooter, engaging in private interactions or utilizing it as a meeting point before proceeding elsewhere. The clientele is predominantly local and maintains a high degree of discretion.
        • Lac Thanh
            6A Dinh Tien Hoang
            054-352-4674

An absolute delight for epicureans! This diminutive eatery, situated just prior to entering Hue's Imperial Citadel, is a must-visit. The proprietor, a character of considerable charisma, not only serves delectable regional cuisine but also provides helpful guidance by annotating your map with local attractions that offer complimentary entry or are deemed less captivating or overpriced (indicated by smiling, indifferent, or displeased facial icons). Furthermore, they will demonstrate the proper combination of condiments for each dish presented, even humorously delivering a perfectly assembled morsel directly to your mouth using chopsticks. Be sure to sample the delightfully chewy banh khoai (crispy fried shrimp and pork patties), typically enveloped in fresh herbs and accompanied by a slightly fermented, pudding-like, nutty dipping sauce. Additionally, consider the banh nam, a savory and yielding rice confection steamed within banana leaves and garnished with piquant fish sauce. The banh cuon, resembling a somewhat wilted spring roll, conceals a rich and crispy pork surprise within its custardy rice pancake casing. This establishment offers humble yet incredibly flavorful fare.

As of now, Nha Trang does not feature a club exclusively catering to the gay community. The majority of bars and pubs are clustered around the intersection of Tran Phu Street (the main seaside thoroughfare) and Tran Quang Khai, along with Nguyen Thien Thuat. You can procure affordably priced beverages through promotional flyers and during designated happy hours. Post eleven in the evening, patrons tend to congregate at the Sailing Club. This establishment is the sole venue on the beachfront that remains operational until two in the morning. While it is a heterosexual establishment, a gay-friendly enclave is typically discernible within.

120/1 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien Ward (located in the heart of the tourist zone)

This well-patronized beachside bar and dance venue attracts a significant local gay demographic. It comprises two distinct dance floors, each featuring its own DJ and musical genre, one situated indoors and the other outdoors. The outdoor bar frequently showcases fire dancers and pole performers. During weekends, particularly on Saturday nights, a substantial Vietnamese crowd congregates here, with a considerable portion identifying as gay. The Vietnamese patrons generally favor the indoor seating arrangements, while the outdoor area is predominantly occupied by tourists. Activity typically commences around eleven in the evening and continues until four in the morning, with the peak attendance occurring shortly after midnight.
